A leading Software House based in Cambridge have a brand new opening for a number of experienced technical support consultants to join their team where you be assisting their customers with ways on how to make the best use of their state of the art software products.
You will be supporting their desktop and web tools and will be able to answer any queries from the technical users via both phone and email. You will be on hand to provide constructive and added value advice that will help users to make sense of their data and how the software can help them.
As well as providing first class support you will be joining a team that is also responsible for providing face to face training, distributing software updates and also handling any licensing enquiries.

Skills
The successful candidate will ideally be educated to degree level in either a mathematical, engineering or scientific background.
A proven ability to understand and explain complex technical topics is required as are fantastic communication skills.
You must be familiar with Microsoft Windows and Office tools also.
Previous experience in a support, programming or test role would be highly advantageous to your application though is not essential.
