A Global leader in the engineering industry have a brand new and exciting opening for a
Test Engineer to join their established test team where you will be responsible for testing their state of the art software and managing acceptance testing for each of the products.
The testing team is divided into two teams with being located in the US.
Your main duties will include,
- Making sure all software is tested effectively to the highest standards,
- Providing high quality feedback to developers on how to improve the software quality within the given timescales,
- Gaining a thorough knowledge of the software under test and how it may be used by customers,
- Carrying out acceptance testing specifications and any other job related duties that may be assigned to you by the management.

Skills
The successful candidate will ideally have experience of both Unix and Windows platforms and an experience of scripting languages. A proven ability to tackle difficult tasks is essential as is an enthusiastic approach with an engineering background.
